Who we are
Secure IT (secureitny.com) is a managed IT services provider. This policy covers the information we collect through this website, our email communications, and our remote support tools. If you have questions about it, contact us at ari@secureitny.com or (347) 743-2914.
Information we collect
We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with us:
- Contact form submissions — when you fill out the form on our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, and whatever message you send.
- Direct contact — if you email or call us directly, we keep a record of that conversation to follow up and provide service.
- Business outreach — we may contact businesses directly by email about our services. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
- Remote support sessions — if you use our remote support tool, our self-hosted support platform may access technical information about your device (such as system details and session logs) needed to provide the support you requested. Nothing is installed or accessed without you actively downloading and running the tool yourself.
- Standard technical data — like most websites, ours processes standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) as part of normal security and performance functions. This site also uses your browser's local session storage for basic display purposes (like not repeating an intro animation you've already seen) — this stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
How we use it
We use the information above to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide the IT services you've asked for
- Deliver and manage remote support sessions
- Send occasional emails about our services, including cold outreach to businesses that haven't worked with us before — you can opt out of these at any time
- Keep this website and our systems secure and working properly
We don't sell your personal information to third parties.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to run parts of this website and business — including form processing, email delivery, and website hosting and security. These providers only process the information necessary to perform their specific function, and each has its own privacy practices governing the data that passes through their systems.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from future outreach.
- Access or deletion — email ari@secureitny.com to ask what information we have about you or to request it be deleted, and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Data retention
We keep contact and client information for as long as needed to provide our services and maintain business records, and delete or anonymize it when it's no longer needed for those purposes or for legal/accounting requirements.
Children's privacy
This website and our services are directed at businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
